Commercial Construction Worker
Capex is a rapidly growing New England based Facility Services & Construction company looking for motivated individuals that love an effective team atmosphere and can align with our core values & culture as a company. We currently have openings in our construction and maintenance division for talented and eager to learn Commercial Construction Workers. Do you have a background in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, plant maintenance or general construction? Are you a recent trade school graduate or do you just have a strong mechanical background and bring a set of skills to the table?
Our Ideal Candidate possesses:
The ability to frequently travel, as our projects are located throughout MA, NH, VT, ME, NY, and RI.
A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation to and from job sites, and a strong worth ethic displaying the ability to be on time and the desire to maintain schedule.
A positive work experience (employers and references are required and will be called)
A working cell phone
1 year experience in commercial construction to include renovation and building of structures.
Illegal Drug-free lifestyle (testing will be conducted)

Duties and Responsibilities
· Under the direction of the site supervisor performs all actions required to demolish, restore, modify, or rebuild assets at commercial / retail locations.
· Prepare construction sites, material, and tools.
· Perform all duties in a professional manner with the results being of the highest quality.
· Work as part of a team to achieve desired results.
· Maintain a clean and safe jobsite per OSHA regulations.
· Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations.
· Attending 50% of Capex classrooms virtual trainings.
· Attend quarterly meetings in person.
Skills:
· Excellent communication skills with the ability to work a flexible schedule of 40 hours/week and/or 9 hours/day on both day and night shifts.
· Understanding of basic hand and power tools.
· Willingness to learn and grow.
· Ability to work as a member of a team to accomplish a common goal.
Job Type: This is a full-time year-round permanent position within our company. Pay is based upon your experience. We offer work and life balance with great internal growth opportunities.
