Job Responsibilities
- Lead the design development and implementation of the DataHub platform.
- This includes selecting appropriate technologies and tools defining data models and schemas and ensuring data lineage and quality.
- Drive data governance initiatives.
- Define and enforce data quality standards manage data access controls and ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g. GDPR CCPA).
- Promote data literacy and self-service data access.
- Educate and empower business users to effectively discover, know and utilize data.
- Collaborate with data engineers data scientists and business stakeholders.
- Gather requirements translate business needs into technical solutions and ensure alignment across the organization.
- Monitor and maintain the DataHub platform.
- Ensure optimal performance identify and resolve issues and continuously improve the platform's functionality and usability.
- Stay abreast of the latest data management technologies and best practices.
- Continuously evaluate and implement new tools and techniques to enhance the DataHub and improve data operations.
- Mentor and guide data professionals. Share knowledge and expertise provide guidance and support and foster a culture of continuous learning.
