About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Asset Management Specialist to oversee the lifecycle of IT assets, from receipt and inventory management to deployment, retrieval, and disposal. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with key audit controls while maintaining accurate records in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
Key Responsibilities
- Asset Receipt, Security & Inventory Management (Key Audit Control)
- Receive and check in IT assets upon arrival.
- Securely store bulk assets in designated storage areas.
- Process asset inventory and update records in the CMDB.
- Asset Deployment & Retrieval
- Manage IT assets for new employee onboarding, separations, replacements, and peripheral requests.
- Fulfill and track non-standard EUC (End-User Computing) requests.
- Ensure all tasks are completed as part of the NA Asset Management queue and catalog request workflows.
- Break-Fix & Repairs
- Assess the reusability of returned IT assets.
- Run system diagnostics on warranty-covered devices to determine repair needs.
- Physical Inventory Audits (Key Audit Control)
- Conduct regular physical inventory audits to ensure alignment with CMDB records.
- Decommissioning & Disposal (Key Audit Control)
- Identify and remove out-of-warranty assets from active production.
- Prepare retired assets for proper disposal.
- Assist with vendor coordination during asset disposal collection.
Qualifications:
- Experience in IT asset management, inventory control, or logistics.
- Proficiency with CMDB systems and asset tracking tools.
- Strong organizational and audit compliance skills.
- Ability to handle hardware diagnostics and basic troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with IT procurement and disposal best practices
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $16.18/hour - $25.28/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
