Architecture Design:
Must have good knowledge of architecture design and the ability to provide solutions for new requirements.
Enterprise Data Lake and MicroServices:
- Evaluate architectural options and define the overall architecture of enterprise Data Lake and MicroServices.
- Define functional and non-functional requirements, including performance monitoring, alerting, and code management.
- Ensure alignment with technology best practices and SLAs in the Azure environment (infrastructure and platform).
Azure and Databricks Administration:
- Hands-on experience in administration of Azure and Databricks.
Technical Consulting:
- Provide subject matter expertise and technical consulting for vendor or internal applications and interfaces, including:
- Azure Data Factory
- Log Analytics
- Databricks
- Synapse
- Power BI
- ADLS Gen2
- Polybase
- Machine Learning/AI
Security and Deployment:
- Drive engagement with ITS Security and Infrastructure teams to ensure secure development and deployment of solutions.
Industry Research and Vendor Selection:
- Conduct industry research, facilitate new product and vendor evaluations, and assist in vendor selection.
Data Governance and Platform Management:
- Previous experience in data governance and managing Azure platforms.
Enterprise Data Solutions:
- Build and design data and analytics solutions using enterprise technologies, including:
- Azure Data Factory
- Log Analytics
- Databricks
- Synapse
- Power BI
- ADLS Gen2
- Polybase
- Machine Learning/AI
Storage and Backup Expertise:
- In-depth understanding of computer storage systems, including backup, monitoring, and disaster recovery requirements.
Data Pipeline Design:
- Design data pipelines for ingestion, storage, preparation, training, modeling, and serving using the listed technologies.
- Automate Azure workloads while ensuring data quality, governance, security, and compliance in the Azure architecture.
Programming and API Knowledge:
- Knowledge and experience with Python, Scala, PowerShell, and API architecture in Azure.
Diverse Technical Environments:
- Experience with multiple technical configurations, technologies, and processing environments.
Additional Skills:
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps and Google Cloud is a plus.
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $46.23/hour - $72.23/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits.
