Data Analysis & SQL: Ability to query, manipulate, and analyze large datasets using SQL. Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) and data management tools.
- Excel & Financial Modelling: Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and financial modeling techniques (e.g., bond pricing, yield curve calculations, cash flow projections). Ability to use macros (VBA) for automation.
- Business Intelligence (BI) Tools: Experience using BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView for reporting and visualization of financial data and portfolio metrics.
- Risk Management Systems: Familiarity with systems used to manage financial risk (e.g., Bloomberg, RiskMetrics, MSCI Barra) and their integration into the business process.
- Requirement Gathering: Ability to work closely with stakeholders (traders, portfolio managers, compliance officers, and risk managers) to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements for systems supporting structured debt products.
- Functional Specifications: Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories that guide system development or enhancement.
- Process Mapping & Improvement: Experience mapping business processes (e.g., trade lifecycle, settlement, risk management) and identifying opportunities for automation or efficiency improvements.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Experience in developing test plans, creating test cases, and performing UAT to ensure system enhancements meet business needs and are functioning correctly.
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $31.20/hour - $48.76/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
