We are seeking an experienced Consumer Retail Technologies Subject Matter Expert to join our dynamic team. This role requires a seasoned professional with at least 4 years of experience in managing and supporting retail technology environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system administration, network security, and application support, with expertise in various tools and technologies used in the retail sector.
Key responsibilities :
- Serve as a subject matter expert in consumer retail technologies, providing guidance and support to internal teams and clients.
- Manage and deploy patches and updates to Windows systems across the organization, ensuring system security and performance.
- Monitor and assess the impact of patches on system performance, resolving any issues arising from deployments.
- Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory security standards in all technology implementations.
- Collaborate with IT teams to schedule and coordinate patch deployments and other system updates.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues raised via the ServiceDesk System in a logical and efficient manner.
- Develop and implement automation scripts to address recurring issues, using PowerShell, Python, or Gantry.
- Maintain and update patch management documentation and provide regular reports on patch management activities and system compliance.
- Conduct regular audits of patch levels and system statuses to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Provide application and production support, maintaining SLAs and standard practices to achieve quality deliverables.
- Participate in and support P1 / P2 strike calls as needed, demonstrating flexibility in work timings.
