This role will report directly to the vCISO and Tower Lead responsible for Next-Generation Cyber Resiliency and Secure Converged Enterprise.
Responsibilities :
Strategic Leadership & Vision
- Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy aligned with business goals and risk tolerance.
- Provide strategic direction and thought leadership on cybersecurity threats, technologies, and best practices.
- Provide leadership across all technology areas, including but not limited to, GRC, SecOps, DevSecOps, NetOps, and Infrastructure.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team and board on information security and technology matters.
Cybersecurity Operations & Risk Management
Oversee the design, implementation and operation of cybersecurity controls, processes, and technologies.Establish and maintain a robust cybersecurity risk management framework.Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, SOX, GDPR).Conduct or advise on security assessments, strategies for vulnerability scans, and penetration tests.Technology & Innovation
Drive innovation and continuous improvement in cybersecurity and technology.Have experience in evaluating and implementing cutting-edge cybersecurity technologies, e.g., AI / ML, Zero Trust, SASE, SSE, Cloud Security, Automation.Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.Build consensus in promoting and implementing open standards that foster innovation.Requirements :
BS / BA in Cyber, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field and / or requisite equivalent experience. Master's degree or MBA is a plus but only if backed by real-world skills.15 years of experience in information technology, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role focused on cybersecurity and at least 5 years in a CIO / CISO / Chief Architect / Senior Director role.One or more of the following certifications : CISSP, CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSMP, CSSLP, CISM, CRISC (or demonstrated equivalent).Proven experience driving outcomes across various industries with strong skills in the OT / IT / IIoT and Converged Enterprise space.Strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to cybersecurity and data privacy.Robust understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001, CIS Controls).Expertise in a wide range of cybersecurity technologies, including but not limited to : Zero Trust, Network Design and Security, SIEM, SOAR, MDR / EDR / XDR, DLP, CASB, SASE, SSE, Cloud Security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Vulnerability Management, Penetration Testing etc.Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud security best practices.Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies.Familiarity with DevOps and DevSecOps principles and practices.Experience with AI / ML and its applications in business and Cybersecurity.10 years of team leadership experience with a proven ability to build, lead, and motivate high-performing teams.Demonstrated ability to :
