We are seeking an experienced Data Modeler with strong expertise in Erwin Data Modeler, dimensional modeling, SQL queries, Relational database concepts, Data warehouse best practices. The ideal candidate will play a key role in collaborating across teams for designing and optimizing data models to support enterprise analytics, data integration and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain conceptual, logical and physical data models using Erwin.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and best practices in data modeling.
- Work closely with data engineers, business analysts and business teams to translate business requirements into scalable data models.
- Implement data modelling strategies for Microsoft Fabric, ensuring alignment with OneLake and medallion architecture principles.
- Collaborate with ETL developers and BI teams to ensure efficient data flow and model performance.
- Document data dictionaries, business glossary and modeling guidelines.
Required Skills & Qualification:
- 8 years of experience in data modelling for enterprise scale databases.
- Proficiency in Erwin Data Modeler Hands on experience.
- Data Modeling expertise Strong understanding of conceptual, logical, physical data model including normalization/denormalization techniques.
- Experience with Star and Snowflake schema for data warehousing.
- Strong SQL skills with experience in query optimization and data transformation.
- Microsoft Fabric Understanding Lakehouse, Data Warehouse OneLake integration.
- Expertise in Oracle, SQL Server and other relational databases.
- Strong understanding of data governance and master data management.
- Strong understanding with data warehousing best practices and dimensional modeling
- Ability to work in an Agile environment and collaborate across teams.
- Strong documentation skills
- Good communication skills.
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $41.61/hour - $65.01/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
