We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Expert Oracle Data Architect to design and implement robust, scalable, and high-performance OLTP (Online Transaction Processing) and OLAP (Online Analytical Processing) solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Oracle databases, with a primary focus on OLTP systems and a strong background in data warehousing concepts and data optimization techniques. This role requires a strategic thinker who can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- OLTP Database Design & Management: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance OLTP databases using Oracle technologies.
- Ensure the OLTP systems support transactional integrity, concurrency, and real-time processing requirements.
- Optimize OLTP database performance through indexing, partitioning, and query optimization.
- Data Warehouse Design & Implementation: Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level OLAP data warehouses using Oracle technologies.
- Develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to consolidate data from OLTP systems and other sources into the data warehouse.
- Ensure the data warehouse architecture supports reporting, analytics, and business intelligence requirements.
- Data Modeling: Create and maintain logical and physical data models for both OLTP and OLAP systems.
- Develop and implement data standards, procedures, and documentation to ensure consistency and quality.
- Data Optimization: Optimize database performance for both OLTP and OLAP environments.
- Implement best practices for data storage, access, and retrieval to ensure high performance and efficiency.
- Data Integration: Integrate data from various internal and external sources, ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Develop and manage data integration workflows and processes.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with business analysts and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior data architects and other team members.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure data security and compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Implement data governance frameworks to maintain data integrity and privacy.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in data architecture, with a strong focus on Oracle OLTP databases.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing large-scale OLTP systems and data warehouses.
- Expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Oracle Databases preferably in Cloud, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), and Oracle Exadata.
- Strong SQL and PL/SQL programming skills.
- Familiarity with data warehousing tools and technologies such as ADW and Snowflake.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization of Oracle OLTP and OLAP databases.
