Job Description
Job Overview:
We are looking for a Flexcube Developer to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be reliable for the design development and implementation of banking applications using Oracle Flexcube. This role requires in-depth knowledge of banking domain processes and strong expertise in Oracle Flexcube core banking software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop configure and optimize banking applications using Oracle Flexcube.
- Work closely with business users to anticipate banking requirements and deliver optimal technical solutions.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) of Flexcube modules including planning development testing deployment and support.
- Design and implement core banking features such as payments loans deposits and account management within Flexcube.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Flexcube systems ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Collaborate with other teams (e.g. QA infrastructure business analysts) for smooth deployment and integration of Flexcube with other banking systems.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations and security standards.
- Provide ongoing support maintenance and upgrades for the Flexcube systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience working with Oracle Flexcube in a banking environment.
- Strong understanding of core banking processes such as payments loans deposits and treasury.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java SQL and PL/SQL.
- Experience with integrating Flexcube with other banking applications and platforms.
- Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong logical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Flexcube upgrades patches and version migrations.
- Oracle Flexcube certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
