The ideal candidate for Keystone SAP BTP Staff Software Engineer will have extensive expertise in SAP BTP global account and subaccount setup and administration, integration solution architecture, and hands-on experience with various integration technologies. They will play a pivotal role in designing integration patterns, guiding developers, and overseeing the implementation lifecycle of projects.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Be up to date on latest SAP technology stack and act as strategic advisor to product and business teams on how to leverage SAP products and tools
- Manage Technical architecture analysis, research, design and development of new functionality and integration with key applications and services under SAP ecosystems
- Guide the engineering team to develop, configure and implement the solution as per the product development standards and best practices.
- Ensure technical integrity of projects, making sure that common technical elements are leveraged, and that work is not duplicated
- Participate in product roadmap and product strategy definition.
- Coordinate with other technical teams to ensure compatibility with their solution components and be in alignment with their roadmap.
- Hold self and others accountable to the committed deadlines and ensure successful deliverables
Establish a strategy for items such as:
- SAP BTP Global Account and Subaccount Setup and Administration:
- Proper configuration and governance of BTP resources.
- Design integration patterns and strategies to meet business requirements.
- Integration Suite best practices
- Integration patterns, templates and prototyping in Integration Suite using various adapters such as SFTP, HTTPS, OData, JMS, AMQP, Mail, etc
- Integration with SAP SuccessFactors
- Integration with SAP ERP (ECC and S/4 HANA)
- SSO/SAML across multiple solutions.
- Utilize IAS/IPS for identity and access management.
- SAP API Management for API governance and management.
- SAP Cloud Connector for on-premise connectivity to the cloud.
- Migration projects from other platforms such as SAP PO, TIBCO, Informatica to SAP BTP.
- Participate in S/4 HANA migration/implementation efforts
- NEO to Cloud Foundry subaccount migration initiatives.
- Provisioning and configuration of HANA databases as per project requirements.
- Implement governance policies for HANA DB usage.
- Implement and manage Advanced Event Mesh for event-driven architectures.
- Cloud Transport Management for seamless data movement across environments.
- Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for integration and application deployment.
- Utilizing GIT for version control and collaborative development.
- Experience with CAP Application development.
- Familiarity with SAP FieldGlass, SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, ABAP Cloud, and SAP Signavio.

- Experience as a consultant. 8 years SAP hands-on experience. Knowledge in various SAP modules and Integration development working on large-scale SAP S/4 transformations.
- Education focus degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering or related discipline with an information technology focus, or an equivalent combination of education and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Extensive experience in SAP BTP, integration solution architecture, and hands-on integration development.
- Proficiency in SAP Cloud Platform Integration Suite, SAP Cloud Connector, SAP API Management, and HANA DB administration.
- Strong understanding of integration migration methodologies and best practices.
- Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, GIT, and version control.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- SAP certifications in relevant areas would be a plus.
Should have deep technical experience in SAP S/4 HANA Application engineering development using the S/4 HANA Extensibility model in the following areas:
- In App extensions using key user and in app frameworks using the RAP (Restful ABAP programming) model
- Side by side extensions in BTP using the Cloud Application Programming (CAP) Model
- Using Clean Core principles for developing S/4 HANA
- Leveraging released API's to develop customizations and creating wrappers for requirements where there is no released API available
- Knowledge of and/or experience in developing SAP Fiori applications
- Designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based applications using SAP BTP services for activities like Technical Development using Business Application Studio (BAS), SAP Build and Workzone and using the Integration Suite for developing end to end integrations
- Business Process re-engineering or process improvement experience with broad-based information systems.
- Strong experience in SAP Technical & functional knowledge of SAP products and various solution offerings
- Worked in a Global environment at a leadership level and demonstrated growth and achievement.
- Experience in transformation projects e.g., from SAP ECC to S/4 HANA (S/4 Conversions, green field, brown field, blue field etc.)
- Experience working with interfaces in addition to Web Services, such as Java connectors and Rest APIs communicating with non-SAP applications.
- Experience with SAC, Fieldglass, Signavio, Datasphere is a huge plus
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $52.70/hour - $82.35/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
