Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable, secure, and robust platform solutions on AWS.
- Lead the technical strategy and roadmap for new platform features.
- Conduct architectural reviews and enforce best practices in Java and AWS implementations.
- Collaborate with product owners and developers to define and refine requirements.
- Develop and maintain architecture documentation and standards.
- Provide technical guidance to project teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards.
- Evaluate and adopt new technologies to enhance scalability and performance.
- Identify areas for IT landscape improvement and innovation.
- Experience in financial services industry and delivering transformation projects.
- Mentor teams in architectural best practices and emerging tech.
Skills Required
Must Have:
- Strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, and AWS.
- Expertise in Microservices, RESTful APIs, and Event-Driven Architecture.
- Experience with AWS deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native development.
- Ability to debug, analyze performance issues, and ensure high-quality code.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and modern Java tech stack.
Good to Have:
- Experience with Angular, UI development, and front-end integration.
- Hands-on knowledge of GitLab, Harness, Nexus, Maven/Gradle, Terraform.
- Familiarity with enterprise integration (on-prem & cloud).
- Experience with Windows and Linux environments.
- Ability to work in Agile environments and apply TDD/automated testing.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience in mentoring and guiding development teams.
