Job Description:
Capgemini is seeking a Mainframe Data Migration Architect for a full-time position in Irvine, CA. The ideal candidate should be local or open to relocation, with opportunities also available in Atlanta, Chicago, NY/NJ, and Dallas.
Key Responsibilities:
- 8 years of IT experience with at least 2 years of relevant experience in integration development with Cloud native architecture
- 2-3 years of technical experience in migrating data from mainframe to Cloud native DBs like Azure SQL, DB2 LUW
- Experience in customer facing role, with Cloud (GCP) expertise and lead the integration team
- Strong modernization experience using Micro Focus COBOL, HCOSS and containers, DB migration
- Management experience leading Application transformation resources using agile Methodology
- Strong modernization experience using GCP stack and Azure SQL
- Experienced in using Capgemini tools and accelerators
- Build, recommend and implement Continuous Service Improvement Plans for a modern app dev platform
