Job Description
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Maintains design authority for the solution
- Leads the resources to develop the solution (Solution Architects) and overall end-to-end architecture of the Capgemini’s solution
- Leads the writing of the solution overview and presents the Capgemini’s solution to the client
- Defines performance metrics for Solution Architects before beginning a project and assesses their performance at the project's completion
- Leads the Solution Verification Review
- Coordinates and or develops the costing of the Capgemini’s solution, and Customer requirement management
- Ensures that Capgemini’s standard solutions are enhanced
- Provides input for internal (e.g. reviews) and external (e.g. executive summary) documentation
- Provides input into the contractual terms and conditions (e.g. SLA achievement)
- Defines solution strategy
- Assists Commercial manager with risk management processes and leading assumption setting and contingency definitions
- Provides input into the creation of the Statement of Work
- Leads solution review sessions and participation in contract, HR, SLA and SoW negotiations The Enterprise Architect must have:
- Strong understanding of ITO led services portfolio offerings and be capable of providing the assessment of client requirements
- Confirmed ability and initiative to learn and research new concepts, ideas, and technologies quickly
- Work with cloud vendors to evaluate and select services that can support agile business requirements
- Train and share cloud knowledge with IT teams
- Provide cloud architectural consulting expertise, direction, and assistance to business relationship managers, IT leadership and solution architects
- Drives cloud standards for adopting cloud services to ensure consistency
- Assist with other projects as may be required to chip in to the efficiency and effectiveness of the group and other business/technical entities
- Work closely with Data Privacy, Security and Networking to ensure compliance of cloud deployments with the company’s policies and procedures
- Assist in resolving cloud roles, cost analysis and budget requirements needed to support cloud solution
- Strong solution design experience, business expertise, and commercial foresight to develop leading solutions across Regional and global clients.
- Extensive experience in implementation and planning in two or more areas of technology or application specialization.
- Deep understanding of multiple-domains
- Skill in systems mgmt, infrastructure planning, engineering architecture
- Ability to apply skills on a corporate global basis
- Ability to serve as a key resource in developing specific solutions as part of a larger integrated solution for large, complex OS customers.
