Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit).
- Develop and execute test cases for functional, regression and acceptance testing.
- Collaborate with developers to understand the system architecture and identify potential areas for automation.
- Implement and maintain automation frameworks for web application and API based application.
- Execute automated test scripts and generate reports on test results, identifying defects and areas for improvement.
- Troubleshoot and debug failed test cases in both manual and automated tests.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to increase testing efficiency and coverage.
- Report test results and status updates to the project stakeholders, including detailed bug reports and documentation.
- Participate in test planning and review meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, automation scripting.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies (STLC, SDLC) and Agile practices.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail OR Qmetry) and version control systems (e.g. Git).
- Proven experience in writing automated scripts for functional and regression testing.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in both manual and automation testing.
- Strong experience with API testing and automation (e.g., REST, SOAP, Postman).
- Strong experience with manual testing and test case writing.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, automation scripting.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies (STLC, SDLC) and Agile practices.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail OR Qmetry) and version control systems (e.g. Git).
- Proven experience in writing automated scripts for functional and regression testing.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $31.44/hour - $49.12/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
