SAP PP - PI Consultant

SAP PP-PI Consultant Profile with Experience in ABAP-Based to Web-Based Conversion for PI Sheets.

Profile Summary:

A highly skilled SAP PP-PI (Production Planning for Process Industries) consultant with high level experience in transitioning traditional ABAP-based PI Sheets to modern, web-based technologies for PI Sheets. Expertise in Production Planning, Process Industry, and PI Sheets functionalities, with hands-on proficiency in ABAP programming, Fiori, and SAP UI5 for web-based solutions.

Key strengths include:

• Extensive experience in SAP PP-PI module, covering key business processes such as production order management, material management, batch management, process manufacturing, and quality management.
• Hands-on experience in the conversion of PI Sheets from traditional ABAP-based reports and interfaces to a modern web-based Fiori/UI5 applications. Ensured that web-based PI Sheets are mobile-compatible, leveraging SAP Fiori's capabilities for responsive web applications.
• Proficient in ABAP Workbench to develop custom reports, ALVs, and interfaces related to PI Sheets. Experience with ABAP Dictionary, BAPI, User-exits, RFC, IDocs, and batch input programs for data migration and conversion.
• Requirement gathering and analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand the functional requirements for the transition from ABAP-based PI Sheets to web-based applications.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for both ABAP and web-based applications.
• Strong skills in technical documentation, testing, and end-user training. Able to prepare technical documentation, including design documents, test plans, and end-user guides for both ABAP-based and Fiori web-based PI Sheets.
• Understanding of SAP Fiori design principles and UI5 framework for building responsive and user-friendly web applications.
• Experience with integration between SAP PP-PI, SAP S/4HANA, and other SAP modules such as QM (Quality Management) and MM (Material Management).
• Our plant is in Redwood City California. US Based resource is needed. Some travel for initial understanding of existing processes would be required and to meet with the local Subject Matter Experts.

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $41.61/hour - $65.01/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.

Salary : $42 - $65
