Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP TM Architect with proficiency in SAP Transportation Management (TM) with strong Architectural skill. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the Architectural aspects of SAP TM and SAP ECC systems, ensuring the seamless exchange of data, and supporting the functional aspects of both systems. The specialist will be required to collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, enhance, and optimize integrations, while also writing, modifying Architectural documents.
Key Responsibilities:
1. SAP TM Architecture:
o Responsible for the Architectural aspects of SAP TM
2. Documentation & Customization:
o Write, modify, and review architectural documentation and provide functional support for the SAP TM configurations.
o Provide testing support including test case preparation review with business and
o Support the development of custom solutions, including modifications to standard SAP functionality when required.
3. Technical Troubleshooting & Support:
o Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting for integration issues between SAP TM and ECC systems.
o Provide timely support for technical issues related to SAP TM and ECC and assist in resolving tickets raised by the business or functional teams.
4. Collaborate with Functional Teams:
o Work closely with SAP functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
o Assist in functional testing and integration testing, ensuring that the integration between SAP TM and ECC is functioning as expected.
o Coordinate with other technical specialists to ensure smooth project execution.
5. Documentation & Knowledge Transfer:
o Maintain clear and detailed documentation of custom developments, interfaces, and configuration changes.
o Conduct knowledge transfer sessions to internal teams, ensuring that they are equipped to support and maintain the SAP TM and ECC integrations.
Experience:
o 10 years of SAP and 4 years of Architectural experience working with SAP TM (Transportation Management) and ECC.
o Hands-on experience with SAP TM.
o Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA or related SAP products is a plus.
Functional Skills:
o Understanding of SAP TM functionality (e.g., freight order, shipment execution, transportation planning).
o Familiarity with integration of SAP ECC with third-party systems or other SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, WM).
o Experience with data migration tools and techniques (e.g., LSMW, BODS) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP Certification in TM or ECC (nice to have).
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA or knowledge of its integration with TM and ECC.
- Understanding of Supply Chain, Logistics, or Transportation Management processes.
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $115.57/hour - $180.58/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
