Job Description
- Collaborates with product owners and stakeholders to understand requirements for new and existing features, advocating for user needs and UX best practices.
- Partners with product and design teams to align on user experience, contributing a copy perspective to page layout and visual design.
- Acts as the digital communication expert for cross-functional teams, ensuring a seamless end-to-end experience while maintaining compliance with brand standards, legal, and regulatory guidelines.
- Understands business objectives and audience needs, providing strategic communication guidance that serves both.
- Effectively communicates user needs and expectations, leveraging data and user feedback to inform content decisions.
- Presents recommendations and innovative solutions to stakeholders, using expertise and persuasion to influence product direction.
- Understands accessibility standards and provides guidance on element labeling.
- Conducts user research, analyzes business requirements, and performs A/B testing to optimize content effectiveness.
- Works closely with design teams to develop user-centered solutions based on usability testing and performance metrics.
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of UX design principles and the product design process, balancing user needs with business goals.
- Proficient in industry-standard design tools such as Figma and Adobe XD, with keen attention to detail.
- Exceptional writing, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong editing and proofreading abilities, with proven experience in UX and marketing content across multiple platforms.
- Ability to simplify user journeys by crafting clear, concise instructions that guide users through transaction flows.
- Experience creating content for emails, error messages, and FAQs.
- A portfolio showcasing relevant work, including UX writing samples and case studies.
- 4-6 years of UX writing experience, including 2-3 years in fintech or financial services.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required; UX certification preferred.
