About the Role
The partnerships team is a strategic part of the CapIntel organization that delivers value for our customers, scales opportunities for our business, and drives new customers for both our partners and CapIntel. We identify, develop, and execute partnerships. The team is newly formed and a growing part of the company. As our first individual contributor partnership team hire, this role is highly visible and important to the company.
We recently launched a strategic partnership that has already generated significant meaningful inbound opportunities.
This role will require 25-50% travel, depending on where the successful candidate is located. We are prioritizing candidates located in New York, Massachusetts, and Connecticut.
What you’ll do
Relationship Management & Strategic Partnerships
- Own relationship management with 1-3 strategic partners.
- Be seen as a go-to resource for strategic partners for all things CapIntel.
Partner Engagement & Brand Awareness
- Drive awareness of CapIntel, keeping CapIntel top of mind within assigned territory.
- As the lead relationship owner, regularly participate in sales, marketing, and customer success calls at CapIntel and the partner organizations.
Sales & Lead Generation
- Deliver sales results in the SMB segment through partnerships.
- Develop and execute enterprise lead generation strategies with partners to support CapIntel’s team of Account Executives.
Reporting & Communication
- Organize and report weekly on progress to the Head of Partnerships and Business Development, using execution success and leading indicators as key metrics.
- Communicate monthly with CapIntel Executives on the status of partnership development.
Strategic Growth & Investment
- Assist in presenting business cases for additional investment in current and new partnerships.
Performance & Execution
- Track and analyze partnership performance to identify opportunities for optimization and growth.
- Ensure alignment between CapIntel and partners by maintaining strong team communication and collaboration.
Qualifications
- Strategic Partnerships: Led enterprise strategic partnerships, fostering collaborations that drive business growth and market expansion.
- Sales and Performance Tracking: Owned and reported on quota and leading progress indicators, ensuring accountability and data-driven decision-making.
- Executive Presence: Demonstrated confidence, clarity, and professionalism when engaging with senior stakeholders with ability to provide initial demonstration of capabilities.
- Relationship Building: Easily build trust and credibility, creating strong, lasting connections with clients and colleagues.
- Industry Expertise: Fintech experience, bringing deep knowledge of financial technology trends, regulations, and market dynamics
