We are seeking a skilled Glazier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of glass in various structures, including residential and commercial buildings. Duties
- Installation of shower door enclosures, mirrors, railing systems, decorative and custom glass.
- General residential glazing.
- Fabricate glass products according to specifications and measurements.
- Perform fixture installation and ensure proper alignment and sealing.
- Execute construction painting tasks as needed for finishing touches.
- Hang shower doors and ensure proper functionality.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Work on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist in glass installation projects, ensuring precision and quality.
- Participate in construction estimating processes to determine material needs.
- Apply caulking to seal joints and prevent air or water leaks.
- Engage in trim carpentry work as required for project completion.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Glazier or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of glass installation techniques and materials.
- Familiarity with construction door hanging, caulking, and trim carpentry is preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to glazing work.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy materials as needed.
- Valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
