Capital Advisors Group, Inc., an independent institutional investment advisor specializing in cash investment management and debt finance placement, is eager to expand its dynamic business development team.
The Senior Vice President of Business Development will play a critical role in generating sales opportunities and driving revenue growth through innovative cash and liquidity-focused investment management solutions within the early-stage life science and technology markets. This pivotal position involves building strong, lasting relationships with CFOs, controllers, treasury teams, board members, venture capital firms, and other key stakeholders to significantly boost new business initiatives. The role also encompasses managing and nurturing existing client relationships to maximize growth.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a talented team of investment and debt finance professionals in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Candidates based in the San Francisco Bay area are preferred.
Requirements
- 5 to 10 years of consultative business development and relationship management experience.
- Proven expertise in penetrating new markets and establishing meaningful relationships to drive growth.
- Familiarity with the CFO and venture capital communities, particularly in the life science, medical device, and technology sectors, is a definite advantage.
- Experience in investment management, corporate treasury / finance, cash investments, and liquidity solutions is highly desirable.
- A proactive approach with the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment while working alongside various internal stakeholders.
