The salary range for this position is $42,374 - $54,000 based on education and relevant work experience. This position will begin in August 2025.

Duties:

• Supervise and instruct high school students in network setup, administration, and maintenance as well as implementation of security measures to prevent unauthorized access and data breaches.
• Prepare students to establish and manage communication networks and protect those networks against cyber threats.

Qualifications:

• Must have 2,000 hours of experience in network systems and/or cyber security
• Must have or obtain an Illinois teaching license for secondary education. The administration will assist you with obtaining the license. The license will be granted based on a combination of education and relevant work experience.
• An educational degree is NOT required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21,500.00 - $27,500.00 per year

Expected hours: 17.5 per week
