Description:
The Supervisor of Warehouse Operations will oversee the daily operations of our Lorton, Virginia warehouse, ensuring a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment. This role is responsible for maintaining 100% inventory accuracy and enforcing process adherence. We are seeking a strong leader and problem solver who can proactively identify and resolve issues while fostering team collaboration and engagement. The Supervisor of Warehouse Operations will work closely with the Senior Manager of VA Operations to drive operational excellence.
Essential Functions:
- Collaborate with the Senior Manager of VA Operations to oversee all warehouse activities in Lorton, VA.
- Lead key operational functions, including Receiving, Putaway, Replenishment, Customer Pick-up, and Pulling.
- Step in as needed to fill any warehouse role to ensure smooth operations.
- Support the team in meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) across all operational areas.
- Assist in maintaining safety standards and conducting safety checks for all warehouse staff.
- Foster a team-oriented work environment, promoting collaboration and shared goals.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and work with the Senior Manager of VA Operations to implement solutions.
- This is a hands-on role, with approximately 80% of time spent on the warehouse floor working alongside the team.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:

3 years of experience leading warehouse teams of 5 employees in a fast-paced environment (food warehouse experience a plus).

Strong written, verbal, and mathematical skills.

Experience working with warehouse management systems (WMS) and spreadsheets.

Forklift certification required; Reach lift certification highly desirable.

Ability to lift 50-pound boxes regularly.

Compensation:

$66,300-$70,000 / annually

Salary : $66,300 - $70,000
