What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Analyst position at Capital Area Health Network (CAHN)?
Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources, including electronic health records (EHR), patient surveys, and financial reports.
Develop and maintain databases and data systems to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into patient demographics, health outcomes, and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative staff to identify data needs and develop solutions.
Conduct statistical analyses to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
Assist in developing and implementing data-driven strategies to enhance patient care and optimize resource allocation.
Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations, including HIPAA.
Provide training and support to staff on data-related tools and processes.
Support CEO for special projects and other duties as assigned
Proven experience in Data analysis, business intelligence, or healthcare reporting roles
Experience working with healthcare data (quality measures, UDS, etc.) is highly preferred
Advanced knowledge of Tableau Desktop and Microsoft Excel
Experience with Federally Qualified Health Centers is a plus
Healthcare Knowledge
Understanding of healthcare data systems, health insurance data, and related terminologies a plus
Problem-Solving Skills
Ability to troubleshoot issues related to data quality, data management, or reporting processes
Regulatory Reporting Experience
Familiarity with state and federal healthcare reporting programs and compliance requirements (preferred).
