What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Service Manager position at Capital Asset Management, Inc.?
Well-established Wealth Management firm, with over 30 years of experience serving a long-term, affluent clientele, seeks a Client Service Manager to join our team of seasoned professionals. The firm is based in Columbus and all team members are expected to work in office. The Client Service Manager is often the initial point of contact for the firm’s clients and all prospective clients.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting clients with opening accounts, transferring asset, processing check deposits, and initiating withdrawals;
- Leading the on-boarding of new clients, including helping clients build-out their wealth management portals,
- gathering basic financial information, connecting accounts held outside the firm and paraplanning;
- Maintaining the firm’s Client Relationship (CRM) database, including the retention of meeting notes and documents;
- Developing and managing workflow templates so internal processes run smoothly and clients are well-served at all times;
- Routinely auditing client Wealth Management Portals for broken connections and missing data;
- Ensuring that all RMDs are satisfied before year-end;
- Facilitating client communications through quarterly check-ins, which help the advisors understand how the clients are feeling about the markets and their own financial future, and other mass updates and notices;
- Gathering and compiling tax documents needed for client return preparation;
- Processing checks to taxing authorities to satisfy tax obligations and estimates;
- Scheduling meetings and managing the firm’s calendar.
Applicants must have the following qualifications:
- A commitment to providing superior client service.
- Significant experience in office administration and client service. Specific experience in financial services is strongly preferred;
- Professional image and the ability to effectively communicate and relate with clients and prospects;
- Strong organizational skills;
- An aptitude for and a desire to find solutions;
- Technically proficient with the ability to effectively understand and navigate financial software.
