Capital Automotive Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individuals to fill the role of Automotive Title Clerk. In this position, you'll be responsible for processing and managing vehicle title documents, ensuring precise and timely completion of paperwork, and ensuring compliance with all legal requirements. You'll collaborate with multiple departments - such as sales, finance, and administration - to streamline title-related processes and maintain a smooth workflow.

Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process titles for customer vehicle purchases, ensuring all paperwork is completed efficiently and correctly.
- Handle out-of-state title transactions and paperwork.
- Process refunds and write-offs as needed.
- Communicate with lien holders to resolve title disputes and discrepancies.
- Issue tags and registrations via NCDMV.
- Maintain well-organized and up-to-date spreadsheets for tracking title-related activities.
- Keep meticulous records of all title transactions, including filing and archiving relevant documents.
- Enter and update title transaction data in internal databases and systems.
- Support the team with additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential
- Prior experience in a dealership setting is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks under tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must pass pre-employment background checks.
