Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of the Loan Processor is to ensure the timely and accurate processing of all loans originated by the loan officers. Responsibilities include: Ensuring that all loan documents are complete, accurate, verified, and compliant with applicable regulations/laws, and company policies. Knowledge and assistance in other areas of the Consumer Processing Department will be expected. Will provide partner support to all internal departments and customer facing employees as a critical link in the loan experience.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties listed below are some of the duties that may be assigned and may not include all responsibilities that the person in this role may be asked to perform. Loan Processor may be required to perform other related duties as assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job duties.
- Perform review of loan applications to ensure accuracy and setup of loan files in the loan processing software and to ensure the correct loan product has been selected.
- Produce loan documents, review for accuracy, and send draft documents to the respective Loan Officers for review. Once documents are approved, send closing documents to the loan officer for signatures or send for E-signatures (If applicable).
- Check the loan file for completeness and for compliance with applicable regulations/laws (Reg B, Joint Credit, MLA, Flood, TRID, HMDA, etc.)
- Complete loan checklists to ensure accuracy of the loan file and all closing documents.
- Responsible for understanding the Banks policies, procedures, products and services.
- Must provide excellent customer service skills to both internal and external partners.
- Responsible for completing departmental projects as needed.
- Will act as back up to other duties in the department as needed.

Work Experience Required for this job:
- At least two years of loan processing experience
Education Required for this job:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Attendance Requirements:
- Daily attendance is required during normal business working hours
- In-person and/or hybrid attendance occasionally required for company, client and/or team meetings
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
- This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Occasional evening work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel:
- Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out of area and overnight travel may be expected
