We are looking for a full-time Prior Authorization Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be the key point of contact, ensuring patients have access to essential services and medications that require insurance prior authorization.
As a Prior Authorization Specialist, you'll handle the review and processing of prior authorization requests for outpatient services and admissions, focusing on eligibility and benefits. You'll also work to resolve issues and provide guidance to both internal and external staff.
The ideal candidate will have CPC certification and at minimum of 2 years of experience in the healthcare industry, preferably within a cardiology setting. We value strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and advanced computer proficiency. Experience with Medical Manager is a plus, but not required.
Compensation:
Hourly rate: $20-$25/hour (based on experience and qualifications)
