Overview
Manager, Community & Volunteer Engagement- the MCVE recruits, trains and manages volunteers, ultimately supporting patients and families facing end of life. The MCVE is active in partnering with other organizations, embracing local events, and is a creative relationship builder.
Location: Falls Church, VA
Schedule: Mon-Fri- 8:30a-5p, occasional weekends
COVID-19 vaccine required to be completed upon start.
Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Director, Community & Volunteer Engagement (DCVE), the Manager, Community & Volunteer Engagement (MCVE) supports the provision of volunteer services to patients and families in compliance with Capital Caring Health’s policies and procedures, and state and federal regulations, in support of the mission and vision.
Qualifications
Experience:
Must have 1-2 years of administrative experience including program coordination and supervisory experience. Hospice and/or volunteer experience is strongly preferred.
Education:
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Education, Management, or a related field.
Driver's License:
Must have driver's license in good standing and access to a vehicle during working hours.
