Performance Consultant - Capital City Bank - More than your bank. Your banker.

Monday - Friday 40 Hours

Summary
In this role, you will serve associates from across the footprint as a performance improvement and training resource. You will design and deliver high quality and impactful learning programs that support the Bank’s strategic goals.

This role requires a high-energy motivational facilitator that is a role model for exceptional client service. We are looking for someone with excellent communication and collaboration skills who thrives in a relationship-centered environment. They will have strong project management skills and the ability to conduct and monitor training effectiveness, in addition to consulting with internal clients to determine performance improvement needs, when needed.

All associates at Capital City Bank, Capital City Investments, Capital City Trust Company, Capital City Strategic Wealth, and Capital City Home Loans have access to confidential client information and must practice discretion at all times.
 

Functions and Role Responsibilities

  • Facilitate high-energy, soft and professional skills training that inspire behavior change and produce results.
  • Manage performance improvement projects including research, design and implementation.
  • Administer and track completion of self-directed training plans for a variety of positions including but not limited to emerging and new leaders, operations, retail, and lending teams.
  • Develop relationships with Capital City senior managers, department managers and associates to understand the performance and development needs of our company.
  • Develop, design, and update training materials.
  • Serve as an internal consultant, analyzing performance and making recommendations for performance improvement interventions.
  • Plan and implement measurement processes for each performance and learning initiative.
  • Develop and maintain vendor relationships.
  • Facilitates.
  • Support training specialists, including facilitating learning programs for new front-line staff (retail and client service center), when needed.
  • Keep current on trends in corporate education.

Associates will consistently follow policies and procedures as established by Capital City Bank, Capital City Investments, Capital City Trust Company, Capital City Strategic Wealth, and Capital City Home Loans, with department managers setting the standard.
 

Associated Duties
Provides additional support to manager and department colleagues.
Completes all assigned/required Bank training within established timelines.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA) Required
The following KSAs are usually acquired through post-high school education and one to three
years’ experience in office procedures and practices:

  1. Strong project management skills
  2. Exceptional verbal communication skills including public speaking and presentation/facilitation skills
  3. Demonstrated facilitation and training experience
  4. Excellent written communication skills utilizing proper grammar, proofreading, and editing skills
  5. Strong performance analysis skills
  6. Strong organizational skills
  7. Ability to work well with all levels of associates
  8. Teamwork approach to work
  9. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  10. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite specifically Power Point
  11. Demonstrated ability to project a positive, professional image at all times

Education
Four-year degree preferred, emphasis in instructional design, communication or Human Resources preferred. Relevant experience may substitute for the education requirement.

Working Conditions

  1. Office and classroom environments.
  2. Some out-of-office events and after-hour events.
  3. Lifting and loading training equipment and materials is required.
  4. Occasional travel required.
  5. In the rare instance of a major or extensive natural disaster, epidemic or pandemic occurrence, or other disruption within our footprint, it may be necessary for associates to relocate or telecommute before, during or after, to ensure business continuity.
