Job Summary:
The Oracle EBS Developer will provide technical expertise to support a large defense agency’s E-Business Suite deployment. The role involves development, customization, and maintenance of Oracle EBS R12.2.x modules and Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) reports. The developer will collaborate with technical leads and stakeholders to implement system enhancements, develop RICEFW components, and migrate reports to OAS.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain customizations and integrations within Oracle EBS R12.2.13 on Oracle Cloud.
- Work on Payroll, Human Resources, Benefits, and Financials modules, ensuring system functionality aligns with business needs.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows (RICEFW).
- Administer and migrate reports to Oracle Analytics Server (OAS), ensuring efficient reporting capabilities.
- Provide support for Cash Management, Treasury, and Financials modules.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to troubleshoot issues and implement enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with Air Force security, governance, and risk management standards.
- Participate in system performance tuning, optimization, and testing efforts.
- Provide weekly and monthly status reports detailing progress, issues, and planned activities.
- Attend and contribute to project meetings, including weekly status meetings and contract kick-off sessions.
- Maintain detailed technical documentation, including configuration guides and system architecture overviews.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Oracle EBS development with strong SQL, PL/SQL, XML Publisher, Oracle Analytics Server Reports, JDeveloper, and Workflow skills.
- Expertise in Oracle table structures, schemas, APIs, and open interfaces.
- Proven experience with Cash Management, Treasury, and Financials modules.
- Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Database 19c (RAC, ASM, Data Guard).
- Experience in 24x7 mission-critical environments supporting high user volumes.
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot complex system issues.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with experience working in a government or defense contracting environment preferred.
- Security clearance eligibility and ability to complete Cyber Awareness Challenge Training, CUI Training, and OPSEC Training upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services.
- Familiarity with Oracle APEX and Oracle Database Appliance (ODA).
- Prior experience in Air Force or DoD financial and HR systems.
- Knowledge of Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) and Project Costing modules.
Work Environment & Conditions:
- Primary work location: Remote, with occasional travel to Port San Antonio, TX as needed.
- Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) provided for development work.
- Compliance with DoD cybersecurity and data protection requirements.
