The Greenbush YMCA is seeking a dynamic individual for the part time position of Babysitting Coordinator. This position supports the work of the Y, a leading charity committed to strengthening community. Under the direction of the Membership Director the Babysitting Coordinator organizes, staffs and ensures the safety of the babysitting room (Child Watch) of the branch.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- HS/GED required; AAS preferred.
- Prior childcare or babysitting experience required.
- Prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Current CPR, AED, First Aid and Babysitting Certification required.
- Child Abuse Prevention for Supervisory Staff; Blood borne Pathogens to be completed within 30 days of hire.
- Excellent organizational, communication and problem solving skills. Basic knowledge of computers.
- Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
This is a part time position with a 20 hours per week work schedule.
