FITNESS FLOOR ASSOCIATE - $15.90 PER HOUR - ASSISTS & SUPPORTS MEMBERS IN THE WELLNESS CENTER

REQUIRED DOCUMENT(S): Upload HS Diploma/GED (or higher degree) to DOCUMENTS area of your profile

• Minimum of 18 years of age is required.

• High School Diploma preferred.

• Minimum of one year experience in customer service or wellness field preferred.

• Orientation to Healthy Living at the Y certification within 60 days of hire

GROUP EXERCISE INSTRUCTORS - $22.55 PER HOUR - COORDINATES AND INSTRUCTS GROUP EXERCISE CLASS FOR ALL FITNESS LEVELS

REQUIRED DOCUMENT(S): Upload valid certifications to the DOCUMENTS area of your profile.

• Valid certification in areas of expertise (Les Mills, Bootcamp, Aqua Fitness Instructor, etc.).

• AA/BS in Physical Ed., Recreation, Sports Mgt., OR a related field OR equivalent experience preferred.

• CPR, First Aid, AED, and national certification (ACE, NETA, AFAA, and NASM) in group wellness instruction OR YMCA Foundations of Group Exercise certification required.

• YMCA Healthy Lifestyles certification within 60 days of hire

PERSONAL TRAINER - $22.55 PER HOUR - DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT A PERSONALIZES WELLNESS PROGRAM FOR MEMBERS OF VARYING FITNESS LEVELS

REQUIRED DOCUMENT(S): Upload valid certifications to the DOCUMENTS area of your profile.

• Current CPR and national certification (ACE, NETA, AFAA, and NASM) in Personal Training instruction required.

• At least one year of experience teaching group wellness classes preferred.

• Minimum of one year experience in wellness field preferred.

• At least one year of experience personal training preferred.

• YMCA Healthy Lifestyles certification within 60 days of hire.

MASSAGE THERAPIST - $34.62 PER HOUR - CONDUCT MASSAGE THERAPY SESSIONS TO INCLUDE MEMBER INTAKE AND HEALTH ASSESMENT

• Education and/or experience by an accredited school or massage therapy association (1,000 hours).

• Licensed and registered by the NYS Education Department, Office of Professions or Board Certification (LMT or NCBTMB).

• American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) Membership preferred.
