Job Description

The Glenville YMCA is looking for dynamic and imaginative individuals to join us as a Program Instructor, Program Assistant, or a Babysitter. In these roles, you'll contribute to the Y's mission as a leading charity dedicated to enhancing the Glenville community.

CURRENT IMMEDIATE VACANCIES

Program Instructor- Various part-time shifts available, flexible hours.
Babysitter- Part-time hours available : Monday- Friday 8 : 15am-11 : 45am, Monday – Thursday 4 : 15pm-7 : 45pm, Fridays 3 : 45-7 : 15pm, Saturdays 7 : 45am-12 : 15pm

PROGRAM INSTRUCTOR- $15.90 PER HOUR

Qualifications

HS Diploma / GED.

College level study in a physical education, health education or recreational program preferred.

Previous experience in coordinating a similar recreational program.

Appropriate professional certifications.

Excellent organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.

Member Service Representative - $15.90 PER HOUR

Qualifications

Previous work experience (1-3 years) in customer service, sales or related experience.

Certifications required within 30 days of hire : CPR / AED, and First Aid.

Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills.

Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.

Basic knowledge of computers
