Description
The Payroll Manager will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of payroll regulations, and excellent attention to detail.
Supervisory Duties:
- Manage and mentor payroll specialist.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage, supervise and complete the payroll process to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions, including salaries, benefits, taxes, and other deductions.
- Engage in payroll operations, including payroll preparation, balancing, reconciliation, and distribution.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax requirements.
- Review and analyze payroll reports to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to streamline payroll procedures and improve efficiency.
- Handle employee inquiries regarding payroll-related matters and provide timely and accurate responses.
- Stay updated on payroll best practices, laws, and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
- Manage payroll audits and prepare relevant reports for management and external auditors.

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred.
- Proven experience as a Payroll Manager or similar role, with a minimum of 5 years in payroll processing and management.
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paycom) and proficiency in payroll software and MS Office (especially Excel).
