Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to discuss their loan needs and financial goals
- Collect and analyze financial information to determine eligibility for loans
- Assist clients in completing loan applications and gathering required documentation
- Evaluate loan applications, including credit history, income verification, and collateral assessment
- Collaborate with underwriters to ensure timely loan approval and closing
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the loan process
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and compliance requirements, including TILA and FNMA guidelines
- Maintain accurate records of loan applications, approvals, and denials
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a licensed Loan Officer
- In-depth knowledge of loan origination and processing procedures
- Familiarity with accounting software and mortgage servicing systems
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess creditworthiness and financial risk
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask effectively
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
