Automotive Parts Manager Responsibilities:
- Address customer concerns and ensure a positive experience
- Negotiate favorable terms, discounts, and promotions to optimize cost savings
- Oversee and manage parts inventory, including ordering, stocking, and maintaining optimal stock levels
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and optimize turnover
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of parts transactions, including sales, returns, and warranty claims
- Provide training and development opportunities for parts department staff to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills
- Monitor expenses, control costs, and maximize profitability
- Other duties assigned
Automotive Parts Manager Requirements:
- Experience as an Automotive Parts Manager or in a similar leadership role preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts, including components, compatibility, and pricing
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency in using parts management software and systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check
