Automotive Window Tint Technician Responsibilities:
- Consult with customers to understand their needs and preferences
- Clean and prep vehicle windows to remove dirt, dust, and oils
- Measure window dimensions accurately
- Cut tint film to match window sizes, accounting for curves and edges
- Apply tint film to windows using appropriate techniques to avoid bubbles, wrinkles, or imperfections
- Provide final adjustments and ensure the film adheres perfectly
- Ensure all tint jobs comply with legal standards to avoid penalties
- Other duties assigned
Automotive Window Tint Technician Requirements:
- Proficiency in using tools like squeegees, heat guns, utility knives, and cleaning solutions
- Steady hands and good coordination for applying film smoothly
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers and address their needs
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during application
- Prior experience in window tinting or a related automotive field
- 3M surface protection film installation is a plus
- Must pass pre-employment background screenings
