As a Senior Analyst in The Global Markets Consulting & Counterparty Risk team (GMCCR), you’ll support key aspects of counterparty risk functions, including managing counterparty data, responding to audits, and fielding inquiries from internal partners and groups. You will work independently on routine assignments and under the supervision of senior staff on complex projects, analyses, and tasks. You’ll have daily interactions with the Investment Group, Trading, and Derivatives to research and create counterparty processes to minimize counterparty risk. You will act as a resource and first point of contact for internal stakeholders. The role requires specialized knowledge of counterparty systems, strong professional judgment, and the ability to make independent decisions with limited oversight.

- You have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial services with working knowledge of counterparty risk analysis across all asset classes and expertise in maintaining counterparty systems data.
- You have a strong understanding of settlement systems and have successfully applied your knowledge to help make decisions on counterparty worthiness (i.e., ratings, disciplinary actions, market news, etc.).
- You demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills with a diverse group of associates, senior business leaders, and individuals outside the organization.
- You've consistently displayed initiative by identifying issues and recommending solutions.
- You stay abreast of current compliance / regulatory requirements and make recommendations / changes to ensure appropriate response.
- You’re a curious learner and enjoy building knowledge about the financial industry.
- You are solution-oriented and can make connections quickly between processes and technology.
- You have strong analytical skills and working knowledge using Capital IQ, Moody’s Analytics, and Bloomberg Terminal.
- You have a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or related fields.
Southern California Base Salary Range : $116,974-$187,158
New York Base Salary Range : $123,999-$198,398
Hampton Roads Base Salary Range : $98,697-$157,915
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
