F/T or P/T status: Full-time
Work schedule/hours: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Job Summary
Completes moderate clerical tasks and assists with direct patient care under the supervision of the physician. Retrieves and completes referrals, makes necessary phone calls to the provider's offices and to patients. Orders drugs from various pharmacies and suppliers weekly and prn.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Basic Life Support Certification required. Certified or Registered Medical Assistant Certificate required. Must be able to navigate a software program with a keyboard and mouse. A minimum of one years experience is preferred. Must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
