Position Overview:
Weekends & Holidays Required
- Obtains and accurately documents required information for requests of transport.
- Assigns effectively and instructs escort staff based on specific needs of transport.
- Utilizes successfully communication equipment to effectively meet transportation department goals.
- Assigns and instructs appropriate escort staff members on specific needs of transport determined by age and other factors.
- Informs staff effectively of special transport needs required for specific routes.
- Resolves dispatching issues and problems quickly and effectively.
- Discusses patient issues, specific requests, and concerns with supervisor on a timely basis.
- Initiates appropriate action to correct issues and any problems timely which may interfere with the proper functioning of communication equipment and patient transport.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education:High school diploma or equivalency.
Experience:Less than one year experience.
Other Credentials:AHA Heartsaver AED
Special Training:Demonstrates basic clerical skills including typing. Possesses basic data entry experience, and able to operate in a fast paced environment.
