Position Overview: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: High school diploma or equivalent. NJ Paramedic license. National Registry accepted but requires state reciprocity submission within 45 days of hire. Experience: Three years previous EMS experience or full time pre-hospital ALS service. Other Credentials: AHA ACLS-Adv Cardiac Life Supp, AHA BLS - Healthcare Provider, AHA PALS, Drivers License,ICS-100,ICS-200,NIMS,NIMS-700,NJ MICU Paramedic, PEPP ADV Knowledge and Skills: Intermediate computer skills. Special Training: Specialty courses. ICS 100, ICS 200, NIMS 700, and Hazmat Awareness. Ops, EMD/BCO, CEVO I, or equivalency. Mental, Behavioral and Emotional Abilities: Ability to multi-task, give and tack direction, and work independently and as part of a team. Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills required. Excellent customer service skills required.
