MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: High school diploma or equivalency.
Experience: One year previous experience.
Usual Work Day:8 Hours

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Ensures that inquiries and requests are addressed in a friendly and responsive manner.
- Anticipates the needs of patients, guests, and visitors and takes proactive measures to ensure their satisfaction.
- Demonstrates knowledge of department locations and directs guests using facility maps or other aids to appropriate locations.
- Responds immediately to guest inquiries.
- Provides proactively patient and guest comfort and emotional support as needed.
- Surveys lobby and surrounding area ensuring it is inviting and that visitors are being assisted as they enter.
- Utilizes service recovery skills as appropriate in problem solving situations.
- Promptly and courteously answers phones and provides clerical and administrative services as needed.
- Collaborates with security personnel on a continuous basis to provide a hospitable, welcoming and safe environment.
- Performs temperature screenings on all individuals entering Capital Health facilities as needed.
- Presents a professional image at all times.
- Maintains a moderate noise level.
- Maintains a neat and orderly front desk for a positive first impression.
- Adheres to wearing appropriate attire and maintenance.
