To be successful in this role, you will need:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Two years of work experience as a medical assistant, EMT, or other direct patient care related role. Current nursing students with completion of two clinical semesters from an accredited nursing program will also be considered.
AHA BLS: Non-licensed must obtain before end of orientation period. AHA BLS certification is required. We offer competitive compensation packages including an estimated annual salary range of $50,000 - $65,000 based on location, qualifications, and experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care Coordination
- Prepare exam rooms for patient encounters and assist providers as needed.
- Review charts prior to appointments to ensure all requested lab work and diagnostic procedures have been completed.
- Record medical history, current medications, treatments, and problem lists accurately.
- Obtain and record patient vital signs, temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Clinical and Administrative Support
- Assist with patient equipment downloads and print reports for provider review.
- Perform medication reconciliation processes and document accurately.
- Accurately input data in registration, electronic medical records, databases, and scheduling systems.
- Infection Control and Patient Safety
- Clean and disinfect exam rooms after each patient use.
- Ensure exam rooms are stocked with necessary supplies, equipment, and forms.
- Professional Development
- Cross-trained to perform Patient Reception Rep job duties as needed.
- Performs other selected clinical and clerical duties that support the delivery of primary health care and patient care management.
