Position Overview:
- Initiates and maintains contact with community referral sources, agencies, health care, human services professionals and other community organizations. Works with senior affordable housing communities, acute and post-acute care providers, faith-based organizations, senior centers, and other locations for direct to customer promotion of the Capital Health PACE program.
- Identifies and builds effective relationships with community referral sources, agencies, healthcare, human service professionals and other community groups.
- Works collaboratively with operations to enhance the Capital Health PACE program brand in the community and identifies sales opportunities. Establishes relationships with referral sources and ensures operations and sales growth strategies are aligned.
- Implements sales strategies that achieve growth objectives in coordination with direct supervisor.
- Acts as a liaison between participants and the Capital Health PACE Organization enrollment team as required to resolve problems, provide information on services, and maintain positive relations.
- Inputs documentation into the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform in a timely manner. Adds new referral opportunities, contact information for referral family or primary contact, referring company, referring contact and all related sales activities associated with each opportunity, referral source, family and primary contact, and referring contact.
- Adheres to policies and procedures for the Capital Health PACE sales and enrollment department. Advocates within the organization for the customer service needs of the referral community.
- Provides in-services and presentations to the community as requested and approved by manager, director, or direct supervisor.
- Promotes and maintains collaborative relationships with managers, peers, and customers by effectively fostering a team environment, building consensus, and resolving conflicts. Attends and participates in monthly departmental meetings, scheduled trainings, in-service trainings, mandatory annual in-service trainings, and educational classes as required and needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience: One year of previous healthcare experience that includes interaction with community members. Previous sales or marketing experience preferred.
- Knowledge and Skills: Demonstrates superior written and verbal communication and presentation skills appropriate for audience comprehension. Excellent organizational skills.
- Special Training: Ability to research, analyze and assimilate information from various on-site or virtual sources based on technical and experience-based knowledge.
- Mental, Behavioral and Emotional Abilities: Possess interpersonal skills to drive collaboration, commitment and productivity when working with cross- functional teams, and customers. Must exhibit critical thinking skills and possess the ability to prioritize workload.
