Housekeeper

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform various cleaning tasks efficiently.

Duties

• Perform daily cleaning tasks in guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
• Manage housekeeping supplies and inventory, reporting any shortages or needs to management.
• Conduct floor care including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces as required.
• Ensure all bathrooms are sanitized and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
• Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Provide exceptional service to guests by responding promptly to requests for additional items or assistance.
• Collaborate with other staff members in the hospitality team to enhance guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping management or custodial roles is preferred.
• Familiarity with hotel or hospitality environments is a plus.
• Strong understanding of cleaning techniques and floor care methods.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
