Biomedical Equipment Repair Technician, Level III

The Biomedical Equipment Technician III performs operational and safety testing, maintenance and repairs on patient care equipment.
Responsibilities Include: Technical inspections of new, used or reconditioned medical equipment, repair of damaged medical equipment, and Overhaul of medical equipment.
Required Skills:
Use of authorized Army Automated Systems including, but not limited to, the Defense Medical Logistics Shared Standard Support (DMLSS), the Standard Army Maintenance System-Enhanced (SAMS-E), Theatre Enterprise-Wide Logistics System (TEWLS), Global Combat Support System Army (GCSS-A), and other systems specifically authorized by the USAMMA M3D.
Must complete maintenance actions within a reasonable performance time. Maintenance actions include, but are not limited to technical inspections, repair, calibrations/PMCS, and overhaul of medical equipment.
Successful Candidate Requirements:
A minimum of 8 years of BMET Experience is required.
Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Ability to speak, read, write and understand the English language.
Familiarity with the Biomedical field and its’ concepts, practices and procedures.
Work Conditions and Special Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. at a time, the ability to push/pull equipment to and from carts, and the ability to kneel, stand, bend, and reach during equipment repair/maintenance.
Willingness and ability to travel frequently as required. Up to 15-25 percent.

- $ 76,500.00 - $ 85,000.00 Annualized
