The BMET Imaging Supervisor role is a senior role responsible for the oversight and execution of advanced maintenance, repair, and calibration of complex imaging equipment used in medical diagnostics and treatment. This leadership role involves managing staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and performing complex troubleshooting. This position requires in-depth knowledge of imaging technologies, outstanding problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Conduct advanced maintenance, calibration, and repairs on complex Imaging equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions, utilizing advanced technical knowledge.
- Ensure all Imaging equipment meets industry standards and safety regulations.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all maintenance and repair actions.
- Provide mentorship, training, and support to junior technicians and clinical staff.
- Collaborate with manufacturers and vendors for technical support, equipment updates, and recalls.
- Participate in the evaluation, planning, and implementation of new Imaging equipment.
- Manage projects related to Imaging equipment installation and upgrades.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology, Electronics, or a related field, or DoD BMET School Graduate or Active AAMI ACI credentials.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in biomedical Imaging equipment maintenance and repair.
- Expert knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and computer systems.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
- Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and equipment management systems.
- Certified Radiology Equipment Specialist (CRES), Certified Labatory Equipment Specialist (CLES), or Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET), preferred.
Travel
Willingness and ability to travel frequently (25% to 50%) throughout State of Maine as required.
Shift:
- Monday-Friday, 0630-1500 or 0700-1530
- On call support, as needed
Salary:
- $ 90,000.00 - $ 100,000.00 Annualized
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
