Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Conduct routine and complex maintenance, calibration, and repairs on biomedical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions, utilizing schematics and technical manuals.
- Ensure all biomedical equipment meets safety and performance standards.
- Document all maintenance and repair actions in the equipment management system.
- Conduct quality assurance assessments on employee tasks and repair orders.
- Provide training and support to junior technicians and clinical staff.
- Collaborate with manufacturers and vendors for technical support and equipment updates.
- Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new biomedical equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Associate degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology, Electronics, or a related field, or DoD BMET School Graduate.
- Two years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance and repair.
- Basic understanding of electronic, mechanical, and computer systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
