Capital Lincoln Mazda of Cary is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Automotive Parts Puller (Trainee). This entry-level role is an excellent opportunity to start a career in the automotive industry, learn the ins and outs of a parts department, and grow with one of the leading dealerships in the Capital Automotive Group.
What you’ll be doing:
- Accurately locate, pull, and prepare automotive parts for service technicians and customer orders.
- Organize and maintain the parts inventory in a clean, orderly, and efficient manner.
- Assist in stocking and labeling new inventory as it arrives.
- Perform periodic inventory cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Learn and utilize dealership software systems to locate and document parts.
- Collaborate with the Parts Manager and other team members to ensure timely delivery of parts.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Basic mechanical knowledge or familiarity with automotive parts is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift and move parts weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to learn and grow in the role.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
